Good food, great service
Nice couple. Good food. The server made sure I knew what I was getting into when I ordered the spicy combo.
I went with a party of 8. There were maybe 3 other tables occupied when we arrived, but we were the only ones there by the time we were done eating. It took us at least 2 hours from start to finish. There was one waitress - she was very nice and accommodating. The food was fine. The rest of my family thought it was very fresh and delicious. I thought it was just pretty good. The irritating thing was that every dish was cooked and brought out one at a time. Now, the waitress did warn us that it would be faster if we ordered one of the "family style" meals. But, I'm a vegetarian, and some in our group couldn't eat certain things, so the family style wouldn't really work for us. As she wrote down our orders, that's how the meals came out. Luckily my toddler was one of the first people to get his plate. But, by the time he was finished eating, the last in the group was just getting his meal. He almost lost his cool, but then his ice cream came out, and he lasted a bit longer. I probably wouldn't return, but I think others in my group certainly will.
We just had an awesome multi-course Peking duck Chinese New Year feast for 9 people. Super yummy. Interesting participating in another culture's rituals around food and celebration. The most amazing fruits on the fruit platter. Must go here more often!
