Breathtaking views and decent rooms. Clean and comfortable. I do wish the lady at the front desk could have been a bit more pleasant however. Her rudeness towards me was very offputting and I would be very hesitant to stay here again due to this.

The Passage View offers excellent value during high season on the island. Our ground floor room opened up to a lovely view of the bay, with a walk out shared patio. The patio includes a BBQ and there are stairs leading down to a beautiful rocky beach - my husband and I enjoyed listening to the gentle waves in the evening before tucking in to the cozy bed. Everything was clean, the on-suite kitchenette has a good assortment of useful items (plus an electric stove top), and the owners are lovely (we met a daughter + mother team at the front desk). We also really enjoyed meeting Gracie the cat and Coda the dog!!They offer pet friendly rooms, as well as a complimentary light breakfast (yogurt, cereal, mini muffins). I especially enjoyed the abundance of flowers on the property - such a great way to add gentle fragrance and a splash of color!Only downside for some is that the rooms are not air conditioned - something to be aware of if you are sensitive to heat. It did not bother us though.Definitely a high end experience for this price range - would recommend to other travelers!

Great view, thin walls, rude staff. My boyfriend and I asked to stay another night. We phoned at 9am and were told the room was already sold even though the booklet in the room said to notify of them before 11am (checkout) if guests were re-renting the room for another night. The cleaning staff literally stood outside of the room waiting for our departure as we left at 11:09am.Way to make us feel welcome!Front desk women was extremely rude to my boyfriend. Lots of other motels in Campbell River with great views. We will never give this one business again.

This motel was lovely to stay at. All the rooms have an ocean view. The hostess was very sweet and answered our questions about the city and helped up figure out a few things to do. The room itself was spacious and the view was spectacular. A few steps and youre down at the beach.

We stayed here because people said the cinderblock walls kept it quiet. These walls were unable to keep out the noise of heavy construction or guest flown drone out the back deck. The noise from the water running in the hotel from showers was very loud. The woman running the hotel was very pleasant though.
