Our room was pretty nice with a great ocean view. Unfortunately, the restaurant was way out of our price range. I would have liked to see some cheaper options. The rest of the hotel was nice but they need better signage - like in the hallways and staircases, there should be more signs saying how to get to the pool, laundry, front desk, etc. And when coming out of the elevator, there should be a number indicating what floor youre on. We got off on the wrong floor multiple times. Also, the towels for the pool should be near the actual pool area so you dont have to run to the front desk in your bathing suit. Good stay overall though!
Stayed 3 nights, wonderful views. The upper deck was lovely. Saw cruise ships each night. The day we left, the humpback whales went by, and what a show, you could hear them from the front of the room. My mom and grandchildren loved the pool, of course. The buffet breakfast was good, the only thing was on the coupon said we could order off the menu, but that is not the case in the summer month's, mom really wanted eggs benny's. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, the staff was awesome. Thank you, to Lisa our housekeeper.
The Anchor Inn hosted our wedding in June. EVERYTHING that could have been done for us was done! In the words of many of our guests (from throughout North America and the world) This wedding is pure class. Myself, I prefer the term Epic. Dinner was cooked to absolute perfection, carved table-side, and served to every table at exactly the same time. Afternoon appetizers, dinner and midnight buffet were carefully chosen and prepared by their world-class chefs. Besides full-bar service, DebbieBartender Extraordinaire, personally developed signature martinis, and champagne cocktailsrecipes which our guests are still begging for! The timing was perfect for every moment of the day, and monitored by our personal Godsend, the hotel manager, Bev. ClassyEpicDelicious EVERY detail perfect!
This Inn is situated on the water. Although an older building there has been obvious TLC to update the inside. The staff we met were all very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our seafood dinner was delicious and most enjoyable watching the cruise ships twinkling away in the distance at night. The breakfast buffet included was surprisingly delicious and was a great way to end our stay. We will be coming back! Thank-you Harbour Inn and Suites!
We stayed here for a few nights while in Campbell river. The hotel is pretty nice and the staff is friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool. The view across the water is really good. We enjoyed the free breakfast each morning although it gets a little old as its basically the same each day. The restaurant has really good food for dinner although a little expensive.
