We were there for dinner and drinks - the food was pretty good and the service was great. We were sitting outside though and there weren't any lights to help us out as it got dark. Otherwise, good!
After an unpleasant experience in the spring, we returned to use the gift certificates that were provided. I am glad we chose to try again, the prime rib buffet was amazing, there was at least double the staff than the previous time, and service was great even though it was quite busy. Will definitely go back.
We had a lovely visit starting with Adam checking us in to Fernanda helping answer some of our questions at the front desk. Adam suggested seeing the suspension bridge and after our hike and exciting walk across the bridge to a view of the beautiful water fall in at Elk Falls Provincial Park we returned to the Hotel for a dip in the pool and a soak in the hot tub. Breakfast the next morning was a cornucopia of choices and we had a quick chat with some other guests who were up from the Oregon area. Overall a wonderful, relaxing get-a-way. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone waiting a stay in a pristine, friendly environment. This is a beautiful hotel but the staff are the ones who make it a great place to stay.
Nice overnight stay. The staff at the front desk was courteous and helpful. Upon checking in I was given a parking pass and was told about the free breakfast that came with the room. My wife ended up meeting me for the night, and we were able to get a 2nd parking pass (I'm glad we didn't have to worry about possibly getting towed). I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a room in Campbell River.
A decent hotel. The room I had was large and comfortable albeit a worn out. The front desk and cleaning staff are friendly and helpful.
